Orion Registrar provides thorough and fair auditing and certification services with excellent service and pricing. We are a full-service, management system and product certification registrar / certification body headquartered in the Denver, Colorado area. In order to best meet your company’s needs, Orion also has partners and associates located throughout the USA and the world. We are a small, woman owned business; we have no sidelines and we are not a branch of a huge conglomerate.
Orion was founded in 1994 by auditors who realized a need and came together to provide the most professional and fair certification service possible. Our auditors are experienced and they care about our clients and about providing a value-added service. Orion looks at our relationships with our clients as investments of time and excellence. Our reward is loyal, satisfied customers. Orion has taken the existing certification approach and refined it to improve our clients’ product and market advantage, as well as improve their service, quality, and overall competitiveness. From our service-oriented attitude to our value-added approach, it is never long before our clients realize we are the best source of thorough and fair auditing. Orion is committed to providing third party certification services that meet or exceed the needs and expectations of our customers.
Orion’s accredited certificates verify that our auditors are well trained, qualified, and that the auditor has experience in your industry. The certification also proves that Orion fulfilled all of the management system requirements deemed necessary to provide effective certification services. In addition, the certification offers assurance that Orion knows its field well and is abreast of the latest trends, technologies and political influences of the industry. In short, you can get the most value out of your management and/or environmental system certification by selecting an experienced, accredited registrar with a great reputation for service and value. Our Auditing Philosophy
Our founders sought and recruited the best auditors in the business because excellent auditors make a difference for you. Orion’s auditors are fair and consistent. They are service-oriented, and know how to add value to your company. Orion’s auditors do not tell you how to run your business; but rather help you understand the requirements and the various ways you can fulfill them. Orion auditors will partner with you in order to improve your systems and therefore your bottom line.
Orion Registrar sets a goal to be open, honest, and approachable. Please read our Application for Certification— it’s short, clear and concise. Read our Certification Regulations — they are clear and easy to understand. We want you to understand the how, why, what, and when of certification. There will be no mystery, no room for re-interpretation to our advantage. We will work with you as an independent party to maintain a partnership throughout the course of our processes.
At Orion, our revenue is obtained through Certification services. You will pay no application fees, no annual fees (except for fees required to be paid to the standard agency), and you will have a fixed-price per service for your certification. Your audit days and cost is determined by the size and complexity of your company. Travel expenses will be billed at actual cost and we always strive to provide you with the most economical options. We encourage you to research other registrars and to investigate their policies and fees. You may be surprised to find Orion has the best prices. We urge you to ask the tough questions and make sure you know exactly what you are getting.
Orion understands the importance of maintaining impartiality. Impartiality is the basis and strength of all third-party certification services. Orion’s President and staff have identified and either eliminated or managed situations that have the potential to cause a conflict of interest or a lack of impartiality. Orion ensures that all personnel who work for Orion, whether employees or subcontractors, are aware of Orion’s policy to avoid potential conflicts of interest. This awareness is backed by Orion’s orientation materials, auditor and staff training, Quality Manual, procedures, contracts and other documentation. Orion is committed to providing impartial services. Click here for our Conflict of Interest/Gift Policy
In addition, Orion’s Committee to Safeguard Impartiality provides on-going oversight of Orion’s impartiality. These controls combine to ensure that Orion is objective in all our services.
Thank you for considering certification with Orion Registrar, Inc.
