Orion understands the importance of maintaining impartiality. It is the basis and strength of all third-party management system registration services. Orion's President and his staff have identified and either eliminated or managed situations that have the potential to cause a conflict of interest or impartiality. Orion ensures that all personnel who work for Orion, whether employees or subcontractors, are aware of Orion's attitude about avoiding potential conflicts of interest. This awareness is backed by Orion's orientation materials, auditor and staff training, Quality Manual, procedures, contracts and other documentation. Orion is committed to providing impartial services.
In addition, Orion's Committee to Safeguard Impartiality provides on-going oversight of Orion's impartiality. These controls combine to ensure that Orion is objective in all our services.

Orion Registrar is a quality and environmental systems registrar, headquartered in the Denver, Colorado area. In order to best meet your company's needs, Orion also has partners and associates located throughout the United States and the world. We specialize in audits to the following;

Orion is internationally accredited by the United State's
ANAB. This accreditation is recognized throughout the world for Quality and Environmental Programs. In addition, all of our auditors are qualified to the International Registrar of Certified Auditors (IRCA) or the
RABQSA requirements.
Orion Registrar is a small, woman owned business; we have no sidelines and we are not a branch of a huge conglomerate. Management System Registration is our business, and has been for nearly a decade. This is what we do, and we are going to continue to be around for a long time.
The
U.S. accreditation body, ANAB, has issued an
advisory regarding registrars' relationships with
consulting services.The
advisory prohibits a registrar from providing registration
to any organization which has used the services of a related
consulting company within a specified time.
It also forbids registrars to allow their related
consulting services to provide management system
consultancy, including internal audits, to their clients. Orion Registrar is in full compliance with ANAB
Advisories 15 and 16. With
the exception of public, non-company specific training,
Orion Registrar provides only assessment related
services.
With Orion, your company may customize your registration services. Your company may seek quality system registration only, quality and environmental system registration separately, or may choose to register your integrated quality and environmental management system. In addition, your company may choose from a six-month or annual surveillance plan.
Multi-site registrations may be eligible for a site sampling plan. A partnership with Orion means that we can customize our service to best meet your specific needs.
Our philosophy
Orion was founded by auditors. Our founders sought out and recruited more of the best auditors in the business because they know that it is our auditors that make a difference for you. You will find that Orion's auditors are fair and consistent. They are service-oriented, and look for ways to add value to your company. Orion's auditors won't tell you how to run your business; they will help you understand the requirements and the various ways you can fulfill them. Orion auditors will partner with you in order to improve your systems and therefore your bottom line.
Orion Registrar is open, honest, and approachable. Please read our contract; it's short, clear and concise. Read our
Certification Regulations � they are written in plain English. We want you to understand what we are going to do. There will be no mystery, no room for re-interpretation to our advantage. We'll work with you as an independent party to maintain a partnership throughout the course of our processes.
Cost
At Orion, we make our money through Management System Registration services. You will pay no application fees, no annual fees (except for medical device programs), no fee for your first 6 certificates, and you will have a fixed-price for your registration services. Your cost is based on the size and complexity of your company. Orion provides a fixed-price for the original registration. Travel expenses will be billed at actual cost. There is no room to change our minds about pricing. We encourage you to research other registrars and to investigate their policies and fees. You may be surprised. We urge you to ask the tough questions and make sure you know exactly what you're getting.
Orion offers a Small Business Program for companies with 49 or less employees.
